Your Weekly Slut Roundup

From sex workers to women who use birth control or just, you know, anyone at all on the feminine spectrum, no one is safe from the slings and arrows of the S-word. Our weekly “slut roundup” is a snapshot of recent news items where the term has popped up, from stories on slut-shaming and sexist bigotry to any relevant sex positive pieces as well.

This week, we have a preview of an upcoming art book that features influential women who have been labeled “sluts,” a dating guru who tells women to get down on the first date, a list of successful (and not so successful) efforts to reclaim the word “slut,” another Republican senator debating the definition of rape (:face palm:), and a dad who took to YouTube to defend his daughter after she received racist, sexist attacks online.
