Cuntmafia Queen Contessa Stuto On Sex, Success, the ‘S-Word’ and her New Video: Horny Lil’ Slut

A reigning queen of New York nightlife, Contessa Stuto is a quadruple threat of the underground, throwing legendary parties, discovering and promoting up-and-coming artists, modeling in magazines from Dazed and Confused to V, and fronting a genre-fucking musical project all under the Cuntmafia name. Naturally, we jumped at the chance to check out and chat about her latest offering, “Horny Lil’ Slut.” While the first posting of her backstreet bacchanal video for the track was taken down by the censors on YouTube, Art Forum recently came to the rescue to premiere it proper. We talked to Stuto about her success, her turn ons, and what “slut” means in queer v. straight contexts.

For the uninitiated, how would you describe Cuntmafia in 10 words or less?

Everything Society has shielded you from.

Your empire has been spreading like an STD for the past few years, what’s your secret?

Being Unforgiving, and loving my fans.

What inspired your latest track, “Horny Lil Slut”?

“Horny Lil’ Slut” was inspired from a time in my life when I was a few years younger and sexually repressed due to dealing with sexuality and gender role confusion based around attempted heteronormative relationships that ultimately failed due to my Dominance and lack of sexual satiation.

There are definitely some artists and nightlife personalities we recognize in this video, Go! Push Pops for one. Who are some of the other lovelies showcased in it?

Yes I have a few personalities from Marko Donto, Hooligan Rad Guitar 5, Kristina Tequila, Krackers, Jocelyn Quick shots of Kay Rizz, Le Fem Ladosha, Quay Dash, Cakes Da Killa, Smurfo, etc.

How do you define slut?

Slut? Slut is two completely different definitions within the Queer community verses the heterosexual lifestyle. I consider intellectual progressive women within the Queer/Arts community “Powerful” sluts, I consider a confused middle American heterosexual female who sees using her body/sex to garner male or attention in general as very basic and sad. There is a huge resurgence with sexual degradation of women in the guise of “mocked” feminism in pop culture. Sexual empowerment starts from the mind, not the body. America is very confused.

Who are your slut icons?

I guess if we are going with “Slut” icons, I would say Avenue D., Lords of Acid, Peaches, a lot of late 90’s early 00’s electro clash Femme C’s like Miss Kitten, Gravy Train, Beth Ditto. Then 80’s style sex sirens such as Vanity 6. Bitches like Pamela Anderson, Traci Lords, and my favorite ferocious black female power house Betty Davis from the 1970’s. I could probably think of many other women…The dick/love-starved lyrics of 90’s Fiona Apple to the Anti-male sluttery of NOT needing ANY dicks to fuck like acts such Bikini Kill. But again…this is a general question; one can say “Olivia Benson” is a “slut icon.”

Turn ons?

Intelligence, jokes, style, being one-of-a-kind

Turn offs?

Basic dick hard shit, basic ass shit

What’s in your purse right now?

Vitamins, Court papers, A notebook of lyrics and To do’s, Lip gloss

Dom, sub, or switch?

Dominant Femme obviously meaning submissive with the right Butch Dyke and/or anyone that can mind fuck me correctly. So I guess I am a switch.

Best Bushwick bathroom to fuck in?

Not thinking about any Bushwick bathroom to fuck; leaving the Ratchet to the youngin’s – I’m thinking about a marble bathroom in Paris or London with future Daddy…

It’s 3am on a Friday night, where are you?
